Obsahuje čtveřici povídek: dvě science fiction z daleké budoucnosti a dvě povídky s tajemstvím odehrávající se v Thajsku koncem 20. století – jedna z nich byla nominována na Cenu Theodora Sturgeona, druhá se pak dostala do prestižního výboru nejlepší science fiction roku 1986.
