Pulcinella, a globally recognized character whose origins are shrouded in mystery, can trace his ancestry back to Maccus, a protagonist in ancient Roman farces. The character adopted his iconic name and costume in the early seventeenth century, characterized by a long nose and a white outfit with a black mask. Pulcinella is often portrayed in various misadventures, singing about love, hunger, and money.
