A substantial and transforming revision of a classic text, the Ninth Edition of The Heart reflects the modern molecular focus of the new cardiology while embracing the physicians need for concise information on diagnosis and therapy. The editors have consolidated the table of contents, refocused the sections, reduced the number of chapters, and eliminated overlap. A new generation of contributors -- all rising stars in cardiology -- have been recruited to refresh many of the chapters and to expand the author base.
