George Ives

    George Ives bol anglicko-nemecký básnik a spisovateľ, ktorý sa zasadzoval za reformu väzenstva a práva homosexuálov. Vo svojej tvorbe sa venoval témam ako kriminalita, trest, psychológia rodu a homosexualita, často s využitím zbierania výstrižkov, ktoré zaznamenával do rozsiahlych zborníkov. Ives sa aktívne snažil bojovať proti útlaku homosexuálov, čo nazýval „Vecou“. Po jeho smrti v roku 1950 zanechal rozsiahly archív pokrývajúci jeho život a dielo, ktorý bol neskôr zakúpený.
