It became apparent that too much material was available so that it was divided into 17 volumes as time progressed certain major groups needed to be split into 2 volumes resulting in 26 . Covered is the taxonomy, systematics, collections,stratigraphy and localities, general osteology anatomy, origins and evolution, geological and paleogeographical distribution and the complete Bibliography
