Viac o knihe
In the 1990s, R&D and innovation focused on internationalization, corporate entrepreneurship, and information integration. The 2000s have seen these trends consolidate and expand, with increased globalization that includes technology leaders from China and India, more open innovation through external technology partnerships, and web-enabled innovation processes that engage R&D contributors globally. The corporate R&D giants of the 1980s have largely faded, adapting to corporate efficiency and integration demands. However, their legacy remains significant, as their successes laid the groundwork for the globalized innovation landscape we observe today. The first two editions of Managing Global Innovation, released in 1999 and 2000, reflected the growing internationalization of innovation and R&D. In this third edition, the foundational structure of two conceptual parts and three case study sections has been preserved, but all chapters have been thoroughly revised. New chapters and case studies have been added to highlight recent trends, connecting them to the origins of global innovation in the 1980s and 1990s. This edition aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the evolution and current state of global innovation practices.
