This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling, ER 2000, held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA in October 2000. The 37 revised full papers presented together with three invited papers and eight industrial abstracts were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 140 submitted papers.
