This book gives students an insight into why, when and how computers can be used in the English classroom. It explores the fields in which computer applications have a potential for adding value to language lessons. The authors do not promote digital media as a good thing in itself but rather encourage readers to consider aims carefully: Digital media should be used, whenever they can help to make language learning more effective, more authentic, and more enjoyable.
