Zwei runde Stangen ragen empor. Umschreitet man die Skulptur, kreuzen sich die Stäbe wie die Klingen einer Schere. Mit dem wortgewaltigen Titel „Der Zustand der Schere vor ihrer Erfindung“ hat Wolfgang Körber seine Arbeit für das Deutsche Klingenmuseum in Solingen versehen, deren Entstehung in diesem Band ausführlich dokumentiert wird. Neben Entwurfsskizzen und Modellen werden auch frühere, stilistisch und konzeptionell verwandte Arbeiten des Künstlers vorgestellt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two round bars protrude upwards. Wolfgang Körber gave the eloquent title „The condition of scissors before they were invented“ to his work for the German Blade Museum in Solingen, the creation of which is documented in detail in this volume. Earlier, stylistically and conceptually related works by the artist are also presented along with design sketches and models.
