The study explores the syntactic intricacies of classifier constructions in Mandarin Chinese, revealing that the distinction between count and mass nouns is nuanced, characterized by two features: Numerability and Delimitability. Despite all nouns being non-count, a mass/non-mass contrast exists, influenced by the type of classifiers used.
