Doing business between India and Germany

Viac o knihe

Business relations between India and Germany are increasingly significant, with Germany being India's primary trade partner in the EU. Conversely, India ranks as a crucial trade partner for the EU and Germany. This growing partnership has led to enhanced cooperation at the university level. The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) has collaborated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU) in Ahmedabad and its affiliate, the Parul Institutes in Vadodara. In early 2013, a group of DHBW Stuttgart students visited the Parul Institutes, where they spent two weeks working on topics relevant to this publication. Each student's paper is based on lectures, company visits, and research conducted during their stay in India. The papers address various subjects comparing India and Germany, including market entry strategies, subsidies, corporate governance, economic development, infrastructure, cultural issues, demographic trends, international treaties, economic relationships, workforce education, and university-company cooperation. Prof. Dr. Friedrich Augenstein, a professor at DHBW Stuttgart and Head of the Business Administration – Service Management department, oversees this initiative.
