From Tur Abdin to Hadramawt is a festschrift honoring Professor Bo Isaksson of Uppsala University on his retirement. This volume features articles that explore various aspects of research in Semitic languages, particularly those areas of interest to Professor Isaksson, including morpho-syntactical issues, Modern Colloquial Arabic, and Neo-Aramaic. Contributions include Eran Cohen's study on presentatives in Biblical Hebrew and Neo-Aramaic, and Lutz Edzard's examination of epexegetical genitive in Quranic Sura-titles.
