Evapotranspiration Over Heterogeneous Vegetated Surfaces

Focusing on the estimation of evapotranspiration (ET), this work develops various models to analyze the partitioning between soil evaporation and plant transpiration at both field and regional scales. It introduces a hybrid dual source model (H-D model) verified across different ecosystems and a regional model (HTEM) utilizing remote sensing data. The author explores the implications of agricultural water-saving practices on ET and emphasizes the importance of remote sensing in water resource management, making it a valuable resource for hydrologists, ecologists, and meteorologists.
