Completed in the year 1972, Kisho Kurokawa's Nagakin Capsule Tower is one of the few visionary proposals realised by an Avant Garde architectural movement called metabolism, a movement to create dissemblable buildings. The Nagakin Capsule Tower is made up of 140 removable capsules. This book documents the physicality of these capsules, as well as the people who choose to live there.
