Female versions of the male heroic quest, these image-based novellas unfold in a unique brew of fairy tale, myth and personal memory. Considered a pioneer of digital imaging, Boody composites hundreds of Photoshop layers to make her heroic tableaux. Equal parts Dr Freud and Dr Frankenstein, the resulting magical environments transport the viewer into another time and place.
