Eddie Anderson has achieved everything he dreamed of as the son of poor Greek immigrants. He is a wealthy man in a secure position, owning a beautiful house with a swimming pool in L.A., while his wife and daughter drive their own cars. He could be proud and happy. However, he bitterly realizes that money and professional success cannot fill the inner void of a life constrained by conventions. In this crisis, he becomes infatuated with the attractive and uninhibited Gwendolyn Hunt.
