It presents a comprehensive review of the organism's metabolic processes and introduces the first genome-scale metabolic model (iMM518). Notably, it highlights the influence of nitrogen fixation on methane production, making it a valuable resource for researchers in biofuels, systems biology, nitrogen-fixing microbes, and bioremediation.
