Focusing on the application of satellite radar measurements, this doctoral thesis addresses the challenges of understanding volcanic and magmatic processes during eruption cycles. It introduces a novel method using regional weather models to evaluate atmospheric impacts on satellite data, enhancing volcano monitoring. The research includes comprehensive geodetic studies of Medicine Lake Volcano and Lassen Volcanic Centre in northern California. Additionally, it integrates geodetic and petrological data to create a thermal model of cooling magma intrusions, marking a significant contribution to the field.
