This volume features interdisciplinary and international contributions aimed at enhancing the identification of young children at risk and preventing disability. Unfortunately, these specialists often limit their insights to their own fields, missing the opportunity to leverage a broader range of knowledge and practices. This collection of papers aims to foster a more integrated interdisciplinary approach to early identification of at-risk children. Additionally, it reflects the excitement generated by sharing international viewpoints. There is no universally applicable method for identifying at-risk children; approaches differ across countries based on available resources and community expectations, highlighting the need for adaptable strategies.
