Zabíjanie, znásilňovanie, zabíjanie, mučenie, zabíjanie, kanibalizmus a podobné veci vás čakajú v tejto minisérii. Je to ako 28 days later, ale oveľa horšie, pretože infikovaný "Križiaci" si zachovávajú inteligenciu, jedia a čo je horšie, uvedomujú si čo robia. Nepriamou adaptáciou je film Sadness (2021) a má velmi blízko ku komiksu.
