White Fang is a novel by American writer Jack London, published in 1906. The story takes place in the Yukon Territory, Canada, during the Klondike Gold Rush at the end of the 19th century. It narrates the journey toward the domestication of a wild wolf-dog. Much of the novel is written from the perspective of the canine character, allowing London to explore how animals perceive their world and humans. White Fang examines the violent world of wild animals and the equally violent world of humans. The novel also delves into complex themes such as morality and redemption. It has been adapted into film several times.
