With the end of the most destructive war in human history, plenty of hope exists that the human penchant for making war has finally been relegated to history. Unfortunately, with the use of atomic bombs in 1945, another war pitting democracy versus communism is only five years in the future. This historical fiction look at those years, including the first six months of the Korean War, sheds plenty of light on a flawed decision making process that affects all of us now and beyond.
