Exploring the complexities of human trafficking, this work delves into the U.S. neo-abolitionist movement through feminist and poststructuralist lenses. It critically analyzes activist campaigns, legislative debates, and the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, challenging the prevailing narrative that equates trafficking solely with prostitution and sex slavery. The author argues that the discourse on trafficking is more flexible than commonly perceived, influenced significantly by Evangelical efforts to broaden the conversation. This study offers a fresh and nuanced perspective on a pressing global issue.
