The Piety of the Child. Introduced, Published and Annotated by Sylvia E. Kleeberg-Hörnlein und Michael Wermke] The theologian and pedagogue Gerhard Bohne (1895-1977) wrote in the 1950s a study titled The Piety of the Child, in which he investigates how a child becomes pious and how piety evolves during childhood. Now this study is published for the first time as a critical edition und will become an important resource for historical educational research and provides an insight into the evolve of religious pedagogy/education of the 1950s.
