Viac o knihe

Nine years after Paul Muad'Dib's disappearance into the deserts of Arrakis, his orphaned twins, Ghanima and Leto, are growing up amid a power struggle for control of the Imperium. Their aunt and guardian, Alia, has become the feared Abomination, possessed by ancestral voices, including that of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, who urges her to fulfill dark prophecies. The twins find themselves in a web of conspiracies as the cult of Muad'Dib and the post-Paul government show signs of decay. Sensing vulnerability, factions like the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood and House Corrino plot to eliminate House Atreides. A notable figure introduced is the Preacher, a mysterious prophet who critiques Alia's regency and laments the rapid corruption of Fremen culture. Through this wise character, the author effectively conveys ecological and evolutionary themes, enhancing the narrative without being overt. The Preacher's insights bring clarity to the trilogy's overarching messages, culminating in a deeply emotional conclusion to a brilliant saga.
