Rural Household Poverty and Its Determining Factors. A Poverty Analysis Using Alternative Measurement Approaches

This master's thesis investigates rural household poverty in Gozamin Woreda, Ethiopia, using various measurement approaches. It combines objective and subjective analyses with data from 242 and 42 households. Findings highlight that community perceptions of poverty extend beyond income, emphasizing the need for targeted development policies in rapidly growing rural areas.
