By categorizing the analysis into history, miracle, cult, and Passion, it reveals how English writers and artists manipulated Jewish imagery after the expulsion of Jews in 1290. The examination of texts in their manuscript and print contexts uncovers local responses and evolving meanings, providing new insights into the endurance of antisemitic stereotypes beyond the medieval period.
