Focusing on socio-linguistic dynamics, this study explores the plight of Tillo's Arabic dialect, spoken by a small Arab community amid a predominantly Kurdish and Turkish environment. With Turkish as the official language and Kurdish essential for daily interactions, Tillo Arabic faces stagnation and declining status. Rapid urban immigration exacerbates the issue, as Arabs refrain from speaking their language to avoid negative perceptions. This situation highlights the potential extinction of Tillo Arabic, reflecting broader themes of cultural assimilation and political relevance.
