Focusing on the Danuwar ethnic group, the author embarks on an ethnographic study to explore their realities and historical context from 1950 to the present. The research coincides with the devastating 2015 earthquake in Nepal, which deeply impacted the author's fieldwork. Drawing parallels between the author's experiences and the Danuwars' struggles against elite dominance, the study highlights their resilience and adaptability in the face of globalization. Ultimately, it conveys a message of positivity and the necessity of embracing change for evolving identities.
