Methodology for black spots identification on roads

Identifying hazardous locations on roads is crucial for improving traffic safety, especially in Macedonia, where such methodologies are lacking. This research employs the advanced software tool Visum Safety to analyze accident data and identify patterns contributing to traffic incidents. A case study on Boulevard "Partizanski Odredi" in Skopje revealed 12 specific hazardous locations through detailed accident analysis, providing a foundation for proactive traffic safety measures. The study aims to enhance road safety by establishing clear criteria for identifying these dangerous spots.
