Focusing on the environmental challenges faced by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, this thesis explores the role of environmental NGOs amidst governmental shortcomings in addressing climate change. It highlights how these organizations not only take on governmental responsibilities but also contend with competition and obstacles posed by both the government and international bodies. The research emphasizes the need for financial stability and enhanced international collaboration in the Levant to effectively tackle climate-related issues and promote sustainability.
