Focused on transforming science education, this study details a collaborative initiative at Mountain Elementary School aimed at shifting from traditional textbook methods to student-centered learning. Recognizing the need for more engaging science teaching, teachers sought support to implement hands-on approaches aligned with provincial curriculum goals. The author applied insights from previous research to foster a classroom community where students took charge of their learning, emphasizing collaboration and active participation over rote information dissemination.
