Focusing on the transition from the Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age in Crete, this archaeological study is rooted in the author's fieldwork and features a comprehensive gazetteer of over 170 sites. It challenges existing perceptions of Bronze Age civilization foundations in the Aegean, prompting a reevaluation among archaeologists in Greece, Turkey, and the Middle East. The research provides unique insights into the cultural and historical developments of the region during this transformative period.
