The study explores the complex dynamics between working parents' willingness to medicate ADHD-like behaviors in their children and the time they can dedicate to parenting. Analyzing a sample of 551 working parents from Miami and Broward counties in Florida, the research reveals that increased time spent with children correlates with a decreased inclination to use medication for ADHD symptoms. This investigation sheds light on the controversial aspects of ADHD diagnosis and treatment, emphasizing the influence of parental engagement on treatment decisions.
