Focusing on vibration analysis, this study explores functionally graded piezoelectric actuators subjected to shear effects, examining both beam and annular plate geometries. The material properties vary continuously according to a power law distribution. Utilizing the generalized differential quadrature method, the research offers solutions that are compared to exact analytical results. The findings provide valuable insights for designing devices that incorporate these advanced actuators under shear influence.
