Exploring the transformation of urban culture in North America and Western Europe since the 1970s, this work critiques outdated theological responses to modern cities, proposing a new approach to urban living. It highlights the need to address social atomism and virtual realities prevalent in postmodern society. By examining contemporary film, architecture, and literature alongside traditional theological insights from figures like Augustine, it advocates for a deep connection among physical, ecclesial, and social bodies, all participating in the Body of Christ.
