Focusing on the statutes of the Dhaka University Ordinance 1973, this research monograph evaluates the feasibility of operating a state-funded university while identifying theoretical and practical implementation gaps. It highlights the loopholes in the existing statutes in light of contemporary global standards for higher education. Additionally, the study proposes solutions to address institutional weaknesses and eliminate political and administrative interference, aiming to enhance the university's functionality and educational quality.
