The research investigates gastrointestinal helminthes parasites in working equines in Peshawar, Pakistan, highlighting their prevalence among horses, donkeys, and mules. The study, conducted from September 2010 to January 2011, involved analyzing fecal samples and found that younger equines showed stunted growth due to higher susceptibility to these parasites. Results indicate a moderate to low infestation rate, emphasizing the need for improved management practices and education among equine owners to enhance the health and efficiency of these important animals.
