The study investigates how leader communication styles influence the safety-conscious work environment (SCWE) in nuclear power plants. Through a survey of 379 employees, it identifies key communication attributes—such as wit, articulation, and social composure—that encourage workers to voice safety concerns. The findings highlight the critical role of effective leadership in fostering a culture of safety, emphasizing that specific communication strategies can enhance operational safety and promote a proactive approach to addressing potential risks.
