Focusing on the molecular basis of heat stress tolerance, this study examines two heat-tolerant and two heat-susceptible cotton cultivars. It aims to identify specific genes associated with heat stress tolerance while also analyzing physiological parameters to establish correlations between gene expression and physiological responses. The research is significant for improving cotton varieties in Arkansas, addressing the critical issue of heat stress that affects seed and lint yield.
