Exploring the connection between capitalism, religious ethos, and societal structures, this book revisits Max Weber's inquiries through an empirical study of Laos. It examines social structures and their manifestations in habitus and worldviews, critically engaging with Pierre Bourdieu's sociology. The author introduces a qualitative methodology to address gaps left by Weber and Bourdieu regarding the empirical study of habitus and ethos, aiming to provide a deeper understanding of these complex relationships.
