Focusing on Intra-Industry Trade (IIT), this book explores how countries simultaneously export and import products within the same industry, a concept that traditional trade theories struggle to explain. While much research has centered on developed nations, this work addresses the gap in literature concerning developing countries, specifically India. It analyzes the nature and patterns of India's IIT, with detailed studies on four sectors: Mineral Fuels, Organic Chemicals, Natural & Cultured Pearls and Diamonds, and Electrical Machinery & Equipment.
