Set against the backdrop of a tense execution, the stage play explores the tumultuous relationship between brothers Jake and Joey, who are entrenched in a life of crime. Following their parents' deaths, Jake assumes leadership of their thieving legacy, incorporating street kids into their fold. However, a fateful decision to steal during a religious revival challenges their bond and the very foundation of their "family," as the preacher's message of love threatens to disrupt their criminal world.
