For undergraduate-level courses in international relations or world politics. The goal of this text is to improve students' conceptual and theoretical thinking about international relations. It is structured around three basic conceptual perspectives: realism, liberalism/pluralism, and globalism; three broad concepts: security, economy, and identity; and key trends: globalization, interdependence, and crises of authority.
