Organized by community-minded Marlene, the event takes a turn when she injures herself, leaving her ex-husband, Stuart, to coach. With his skeptical views on immigrants, Stuart's journey alongside the eclectic team leads to moments of humor and heart, ultimately challenging local prejudices and fostering community spirit.
