This research introduces a Hierarchical Decision Model (HDM) to assess the contribution of various transfer mechanisms. By applying performance values from a specific university, it creates a Knowledge and Technology Transfer Effectiveness Index. This Index serves as a tool for academic institutions to gauge their current performance in knowledge and technology transfer relative to their mission, addressing significant gaps in existing literature.
