Only remnants of the once-magnificent structure remain, including a solitary tower and a few chambers, surrounded by lush greenery that enhances its beauty amidst the wild landscape. The castle, known as Dymock's Tower, was historically inhabited by formidable free-booters who thrived on raiding the neighboring Scottish territories, hinting at a legacy of adventure and conflict.
