Focusing on the intersection of traditional and contemporary healing practices, this book explores the art and science of medicine, emphasizing its evolution and diverse applications in health care. It highlights the significance of ten clinically important botanical species, including Neem and Tulsi, and presents findings from a study conducted among the rural population of Tangail, Bangladesh. Through interviews conducted in late 2011, it sheds light on local medicinal practices and the integration of botanical knowledge in modern medicine.
