The book delves into the dynamical behavior of two epidemiological models: the SVIR model, which focuses on direct transmission of infectious diseases among individuals, and the SVIRS model, which incorporates environmental sources of infection. Both models are mathematically represented by nonlinear differential equations. Key analyses include the existence and uniqueness of solutions, stability conditions of equilibrium points, and discussions on local bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation. This work provides insights into the complex interactions of disease dynamics influenced by vaccination and immigration.
