This book introduces a framework for enhancing wayfinding services within regional communities by leveraging familiar landmarks. It proposes the concept of communal ontology to improve navigation and includes a case study that collects regional landmarks and develops an ontological model. The outcome aims to provide structured geographical information, supporting cognitive navigation for users in urban settings.
